About this role

Lexer helps brands make really complex data easy.

Most people don’t realise, but making data easy-to-use is really hard. But it’s ok! Thanks to our amazing team we help transform brand data into something much more valuable than its raw original – without breaking a sweat.

Today, we’re looking to grow our team by introducing a new Data Wrangler to our Sydney or Melbourne offices.

Our Data Wranglers are individuals who have a passion and curiosity for data, who already know, or want to accelerate their skills in SQL, Python, R, and Excel.
But more importantly, have an insane attention to detail, obsession with quality, and pride in self.

This role is ideal for recently graduated individuals who are familiar with data, or have a year or two of experience in the field. You’ll be working with a talented and highly experienced team always eager to share their skills, expertise and stories on the job and over a coffee – or even something stronger (we do brew our own beer).

Technical experience

  • Gathering actionable insights from one or many data sets
  • Building reports from various datasets to be presented to a wider audience
  • Delivering work based on imperfect datasets
