Our business development team is an experienced group of professionals that love to share what they know. Each in the team is a retail expert, focused on bringing value to every engagement, regardless of the outcome.

You are someone who is a keen learner, with a strong desire to gain new skills, seeking to soak-up advice and mentorship from peers and other sales professionals. You are passionate about building your sales skills in an environment that values integrity.

In this position, your ultimate goal is to introduce Lexer’s solutions to key people within prospective companies. If there is a good fit, you’ll either introduce the prospect to a Business Development Director, or invite them to a Lexer event to learn more.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Learn about the Lexer suite of products and be an ambassador for Lexer’s solutions.
  • Research companies that could be a good fit for Lexer’s solutions and maintain a target list.
  • Identify and engage with prospective customers (from your list of companies) via Linkedin, email, chat and phone.
  • Coordinate community engagement activities, such as Lexer Round Tables, Webinars, Executive Dinners and Conferences, plus general industry events.

You’re a good fit if:

  • Ideally, you’ve been working in a similar Inside-Sales role for the past 1-2 years.
  • You are a high-achiever ready to hit the ground in a new, fresh and highly innovative environment.
  • You have experience in the marketing tech space and/or experience working with retailers.
  • You like to talk to and engage with people across industries and are curious about their roles and responsibilities, always looking for ways to help.
  • You love clients. You easily and quickly build rapport and you take the position of advisor with sincerity and integrity.
  • You’re a self-starter – positive and excited to come to work every day!
